Dickens scrapbooks, 1832-1915.

The scrapbooks contain a broad range of material related to the life and works of Dickens. The majority of the items are articles clipped from numerous publications, including Dickens's obituary from the London times, dated June 11, 1870. Other items include t.p. and illustrations, wrappers, photos., cigarette trading cards and other advertising matter, playbills, comics, political cartoons, Christmas cards, calendars, and several publications of the Pickwick Bicycling Club.
